The importance of a Life Coach or Business Coach

The importance of a Life Coach or Business Coach 09/14 by GenevieveFlight | Goals Podcasts

Join Host/Published Author/Business Coach /Life Coach Genevieve Flight as she discusses the 'Importance of  a Life Coach or Business Coach' .  Many of us are unaware that we need a Life Coach or Business Coach to help us achieve our Life Goals better and quicker than we would have done if walking alone along the route of our Destiny. Two heads they say are better than one and that's where these roles come into play and will surely be of benefit to you or anyone you know. If President Obama has a Coach/Advisers, I wonder why you would not need a Coach. Thinking you do not need one is surely a limiting belief which you need to get rid of as soon as possible in order to align yourself better to your Life purpose. It does not matter what part of the World where you are as Internet has made everything possible.

7 Ways to Expand Your Online Business

So you just started your online business, congratulations! But you're not yet sure of how to expand them. Here are 7 ways to help you. Read and be motivated!

1. Consider opening another location. This may not be a great choice for expanding internet business. But according to business consultant and writer Frances McGukin, opening another location for your online business is just the same thing as traditional business. Moreover, McGukin recommends online-based business owners to:

Look closely at the trends (both consumer and economic-based) to indicate the staying power of your business. Ensure that the management team (including its administrative systems) is extraordinary in setting a location before keeping it running. Maintain the "bottom-line" profits that have been steady for the first 2 - 3 years of the business. Determine how and where you'll obtain your finances. Set up a separate business plan for the new location.

2. License your offers. This may be a low-cost medium for many online businesses. According to Larry Bennett, head director of the International Center for Entrepreneurship Studies at Johnson & Wales University, these businesses can receive upfront royalties and dues from consistent sales or software use through licensing. This helps control the risks of losing product or service control.

3. Sign a government contract. Rep. Nydia Velazquez of the Democratic Party wrote in her August 2003 article the importance of getting the approval of the federal government in expanding an online-based business. Coordinate with your local SDBC and SBA offices before signing a government contract. The US Chamber of Commerce offers a special matchmaking program for small or online-based entrepreneurs.

4. Target other people. Your present market is serving you well, and that's understandable. But McGukin suggests that having multiple markets is an advantage in expanding your business online. Think about it! If your market ranges from young adults to professionals, chances are you'll be able to earn over hundreds (or even thousands) of bucks and make a name in the online business realm. Sponsor speaking events, entrepreneurship programs and other offerings that can generate a multitude of revenue streams to your business.

5. Place your business website in search engines. According to SEO expert Sally Falkow, 85% of traffic comes from Google and Yahoo. Falkow adds that as of June 2011, about five billion business and traffic doubles every 200 days, making the visibility of these sites crucial to the needs of people.

6. Expand your business globally. FatWire is among the few online-based businesses that successfully expanded its services to over 60 countries. Since then, the company has already established offices in Italy, France, Holland, Spain, United Kingdom, Singapore, Japan and China. To expand the business outside of your country, you need a foreign distributor who will carry the inventory of your product or service to resell them in your target domestic markets.

7. Merge with other online businesses. It's an advantage if the business you chose to join forces with is also up for expansion.

6 Rules to Follow When You Start an Online Business

"I want to start an online business... What kind of business should I start?"

Most aspiring entrepreneurs ask this very question during the beginning of their journey into business. If you are like most people, the idea of starting your own business probably involves a restaurant franchise, a coffee shop, or a retail store of some sorts (such as selling clothes or books). Or, if you're a little more in-tune with the times, you'll be thinking of starting a technology company of some sorts and hoping to secure some venture capital funding.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with these types of businesses. However, if you're a first-time entrepreneur (and likely, you are if you're asking this question) these businesses are a bad idea to start with. They are very risky, take a lot of start-up capital, and you'll most likely end up doing 12-hour work days, 7 days a week. Even more so, you are betting your most important resources (time and money) on an unproven strategy.

Instead, I challenge you to think of your first business as a pet project of some sort. Something that you are passionate about, and don't mind spending a little bit of money here and there. You'll never "fail" - you're simply learning.

And to maximize your chances of success with your business, here are 6 rules you should follow when you're launching a new business. They are especially applicable if you want to start an online business, but they apply to entrepreneurship in general.

Rule #1: You should solve a certain problem for a certain group of people.

Instead of thinking about business ideas, successful entrepreneurs think about problem-solving for a select group. Look to answer the question, "how can I solve THAT problem?" when brainstorming for business ideas. People are more inclined to buy when they're in a state of looking for a solution to their problem. It's much easier to sell the cure instead of the prevention.

Preferably, you should be a member of that particular group to TRULY know what solutions you can offer them. After all, you can't REALLY know what sort of problems pregnant women have if you've never been pregnant yourself, can you?

Rule #2: You should be able to test the demand for your product prior to launch.

Do not create a product and hope to create a demand for it once it's done. Ideally, you should be able to launch a dry-test before you spend valuable time and resources developing the product. Set up a salespage and launch an AdWords campaign and see how many people "purchase" your product. Don't take their credit card information of course; simply say you are sold out and will contact them once you're fully stocked again. Additionally, you can also list the item on eBay and pull down the listing in the last minute.

Rule #3: You should be able to get it up and running as quickly or as cheap as possible.

You don't have the capital, nor the resources, to build the next PSP or iPod just yet. If you attempt to build something that huge and this is your first time going into business, your chances for failure is very, very high. Once your dry test proves successful, you should be able to quickly capitalize on the demand even if that means starting out with half a product (half a product, NOT a half-ass product). It's perfectly acceptable to start small for now, and get bigger as you progress.

Rule #4: You should be able to outsource a bulk of the work.

Not being able to outsource is a common syndrome for would-be entrepreneurs. They insist on doing it all themselves, then burn themselves out in the process. Don't be cheap, and outsource activities. Think about this as a wise investment for your business. There are plenty of entrepreneurs who have launched entire businesses on the Internet by outsourcing everything, even product creation.

You shouldn't be working on trivial things when you can save days or weeks of work by simply paying someone else to do it. So if web design or programming isn't your strong suit, find someone on Elance who can do it cheaply. Focus your efforts on marketing and selling your product.

Rule #5: You should never buy anything that isn't required until you're making a profit.

Did you know that you only have to double a dollar 20 times before you turn it into a million? Take $1 and double that to end up with $2. Double that to end up with $4. Double that to end up with $8... By step 20, you would've made over a million dollars.

Of course, that's easier said than done. The lesson here is to take the profits you've earned and reinvest it back into the business. Until you're making a profit, do not spend on unnecessary things like coffee mugs with your logo on it, new desks, office rent, etc. Before you buy anything, first ask yourself this question: will the business crumble tomorrow if I don't get this right now? If not, put it in the backburner and move on.

Rule #6: You should be able to scale the business.

This is perhaps the most important rule of them all. After all, you're starting a business, not getting a job. The end goal for your company should be that it functions without your presence. Your business should function in the same way whether you're selling 10 or 10,000 products. Be the police officer on the side of the road who steps in when needed, instead of a toll booth which all cars need to pass through.

How to Know If an Online Business Is For You

Many Americans have a deep desire to have their own businesses especially that of an online one. However many don't have the skills nor the nerve to actually make that step in running and operating it and when it comes to the time of doing it, going full time. The step of quitting ones job can be very disheartening, uncomfortable and downright frightening. Have you ever been to that point after working so hard on a project and you don't get the acknowledgment that you feel you deserve for it? That feeling can be one that wears on you for quite sometime. Well I'm hear to provide some information that you can use in order to see if you're ready to make that next move to entrepreneurship.

The first step in knowing if an online business is for you is this, drive. When you start any venture especially an online venture you must have an inner drive that will wake you up every morning to get you prepared to do your work. You must keep a mindset that is one that focuses on your goals and constantly highlights your strengths and accomplishments. With this you can stay focused and not become easily discouraged if something you worked on didn't end up the way you intended. I suggest having a simple quote and a picture or something in front of you that gives you that drive. It's amazing what a picture and a phrase can do for one's psyche.

The next area of concern should be that of dedication. Like any other business dedication is key, why? Well, you need dedication because now you will be responsible for all aspects of your business. If you don't do the tasks needed then no one will. This can be avoided if you keep an organizer with a schedule that lies out all your tasks for a week or to simplify for the day. Dedication and organization will keep you on a path to success.

The last key element to knowing if an online business is for you involves turning rejections into opportunities. Most people can't take too many rejections because of the emotional toll it takes. This is best dealt with through constant re-evaluation of the steps or marketing that was involved in that last failed opportunity. Looking over the information to see how you can better your approach next time will help you to identify any potential weaknesses you have and to correct them. I say that rejection is only a tool that one can use to better themselves the next time! Keeping a similar attitude can help you to evaluate your current situations so that they can be better for your future.

So if you can put all these aspects together and can stay focused then an online business could very well be for you. Remember it just takes time, commitment, focus and dedication.

I am a young Entrepreneur who is hear to provide some personal insight on varying topics ranging from entrepreneurship to reviews on topics of my liking. I enjoy voicing an opinion on a topic and then engaging in some form of dialogue with others to encourage debate.

7 Tips To Starting Your Online Business

Congratulations and welcome to the exciting world of online business for work at home moms. Now that you have taken the first step, you might be asking yourself, "what next?"

It is very important to start off on a strong footing and here I have provided 7 tips to get you off to a fast start for your work from home online business here.

1. Success starts in your mind. So decide right now that you will go for success. Burn your bridge. Accept no excuses. To quote James Allen from his book, 'As A Man Thinketh', "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he."

2. Commit your vision and goals to the paper. Write it down. There is power in the written word. You are the captain of your ship. To get from where you are to where you want to go (time and financial freedom), you need to chart the course for your ship (your chosen vehicle here is an online business) to sail.

3. Begin with the end in mind. Many successful entrepreneurs build an online business with the goal of selling it off down the road. Think: why should anybody buy over your online business? What sort of value can I add to my online business?

4. Don't procrastinate. Don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today. Manage your time properly. To quote Nike, "Do it now". So, do your market research and start your online business straight away.

5. Balance action with planning. One of the most common pitfalls to successful entrepreneurship is getting too caught up in action without enough planning. Stated another way, this means that you confuse "being busy" with "working on important projects." The best approach is to plan your next couple of goals and then work backwards to create step by step action plans to reach them. Once you have the plan, then it's time to take the action. Ask yourself, how many hours would you commit each day, each week to your new online business? Make sure that your time is productively spent. Ask yourself for each task that you do whether it's an income producing activity. Should you yourself handle the task or is it more effective to be outsourced?

6. Network and network. Build relationships whether it's online or offline with like-minded people. One of the fastest ways to grow any business is to make connections with other people. Be sure to share your passion and enthusiasm with others at every opportunity. Let people know who you are and what you offer. Remember, people can't buy if they don't know you're selling. Be professional when you network with others.

7. Keep learning. Become a lifelong learner. Learn from those who have succeeded. Discover their success factors. Learn too, from those who have failed and avoid their mistakes. Set aside money to invest in your online business education. Form a mastermind team to brainstorm ideas and for accountability purpose. Get a good coach for your online business.

Hopefully, these seven tips will get your work at home online business started and growing in the right direction.

How to Start a Free Online Business

Everyone goes through that point in life where some pondering on career choice is necessary. Some go through it a gillion times in a lifetime, while some are fortunate enough to go through it only once, having picked the perfect one the first time. But when it comes to entrepreneurship, anyone can make a career out of it. Some, in fact, after wrestling with a career they haven't been comfortable with or have lost the passion for, have found that it has been what's right for them all along. Consider it yourself. Maybe that's where your calling is. And if you're going to be an entrepreneur, don't think it's so difficult. It will take hard work yes, but you can start even now if you've saved up a considerable amount of money for your capital. How do you go about it? You can start a free online business.

A free online business can be anything from affiliate marketing to actually selling your own products and/or services through the Internet. Affiliate marketing is also known as crowd-sourcing. With it you become an affiliate to a primary legitimate business which is the retailer or the brand. The gist of it is you establish a website where you advertise that retailer and those people who come and visit your affiliate website will be referred to the retailer.

There also are network marketing businesses which let you in on the network and make you a distributor of products and services such as home d├ęcor or travel and lodging packages, and those being in demand products, there is a concurrent high demand for distributors like you. So you and all other distributors work to recruit other distributors and with each recruit you get perks and privileges from your network marketing company such as all-expense-paid vacation trips, all to reward you and motivate you to perform your role even better as a distributor and recruiter.

You can also choose to sell your own product or service. No matter who you are and what previous line of work you were in (or are still in, if you choose to only earn additional income from your online business), you have something you can offer to people. You might be a talented web designer so you can be a freelance web developer, designing the site itself and managing its content too. You might be a prodigious painter and you've got masterpieces you can sell for reasonable prices to art appreciators wanting to beautify their homes with a splashes of color on canvas. You might be a very creative graphic artist in which case you can design T-shirts or other home decor to display on sale on your website. If you don't think you're one for affiliate marketing, network marketing or any other type of passive entrepreneurship, perhaps the free online business that's suited for you is active marketing of your own product or service. All it takes is determination, some capital, and a computer with an Internet connection. Plan it all now and start today!

Thinking About An Online Business? - Find A Mentor

Establishing a firm foundation is an imperative part for your online business. As talked about in the previous articles, understanding your mission and obtaining the right training and knowledge are two fundamental keys, but finding a mentor is also a critical part of the online business startup formula. There are many advantages of having a mentor that could be expressed, but this article will focus on three. A mentor provides you with a guide, experience, and puts a boost in your start up work.

The importance of a mentor cannot be exemplified enough. Not only does it provide someone who you can trust and turn to, but also a fully bona fide success story in the exact same industry that you are in. The tricks, tips, and techniques that a mentor can teach will become invaluable to you. They also spur you with confidence because you know that what they are showing you really does work, and that with it you can have the same success. It's like having your own industry leading human encyclopedia at your fingertips.

Mentors not only become a guide to you but also an experienced business person. You can trust their advice on what will work versus what will not. You can also expand your knowledge of business by heading their advice on subjects outside of selling or marketing, such as goal setting and personal development. They will help expand your mind in entrepreneurship, and teach you to grow in all the different aspects of an online money making venture.

Finding a mentor also assists you in a third important area; getting ahead of the competition. For most tapping into a new industry and becoming a leader in it takes years. However, with a mentor you can advance very quickly through the beginning stages and jump months ahead of your competition and the people who are trying it without a mentor. This is the reason why a mentor plays such a vital role in your new business.

Take a look at all the successful online business owners, and you will find that most of them had a mentor that they learned from. Obtaining a mentor offers you a guide, experience, and a big advantage over the competition. When looking for an online business startup system, try to find one that will provide you with a mentor, and if not, the try to get one on your own, for the benefit it will give you will be tremendou

How to Reach Customers For Your Online Business

The World Wide Web is a perplex world. However, perplex as it is, there are numerous ways to earn good money online. It may take time, it may take effort but if you persevere, you will surely make a living as an online entrepreneur.

Online entrepreneurship has many different faces; however, we will not discuss the many facet of online entrepreneurship. In this article, we will discuss how and where you will find customers that will be craving for your products and services.

It is very hard to run after customers. Many internet entrepreneurs continue to run after customers for their online business, they succeed some time, they fail some time. Thus, it is necessary that you know where to reach customers and how to convert those potential customers into fanatics.

People do not want to be sold to, customers wants to buy from experts. Experts who knows how to solve their problems more than they can. Thus, if you want to reach customers, targeted customers who may buy your products and services, you have to be the expert of your field. This is the shortest distance to reaching customers for your online business.

How to Become the Expert in Your Subject

Expertise in a subject is not born with you. You have to learn it and earn it, the expert status in your field. If you want to learn more about your niche, you have to research and try to know your product by heart. You also need to know the problem your niche is facing and learn how to solve that problem.

Start the process of becoming an expert by researching your niche.

How to do Niche Research

1. Think of the keywords that pertain to your product

2. Think of the problems that your product solve

Now, you have the basic keywords. Research your keyword further by using WordTracker and Google Keyword Tool. By researching your keywords further, you can get the keywords and its combination that your customers use when they search for products or services like yours.

Now, that you know the keywords and the keyword combinations, create articles that will help your potential customers. Solve the problems faced by your potential customers. Find the solution that no one else can offer but you and your product.

The helpful articles you create may be published in many locations on the World Wide Web. You will have create articles that will put you high on search engines so that when your potential customer searches for products like yours, then they will easily find you.

Create Articles for your Online Business

To reach customers for your online business, you have to be able to tell the public that you are the best person to provide answer to their questions. You have the solution to their problems and that you are the expert they seek.

You must create articles that will help your potential customers. Solve their problems and keep them interested in the product you are selling.

You can create articles and use the keywords and keyword combinations liberally within the article. This is called search engine optimization. You have to include those keywords in all your articles so that your articles will rank high on search engines.

Write, read and rewrite your article until you are convinced that the article is ready to be published. Always check grammars and spelling, you surely do not want to be perceived as unprofessional by published unpolished articles.

Publish articles in as many locations as possible. Publish articles in article directories, in forums, include your articles in ezines and and also publish helpful articles in your website. Always remember to put a link to the pertinent product so that customers will find it easy to purchase your product if they see your articles.

You may also visit Yahoo! Answers. Many internet browsers post questions that will help solve their problems at Yahoo! Answers. Answer questions posted by potential customers. You can put up a link in your answer leading to your website.

Ensure however that the link pertains to the question or subject of the questions so that posting the link will not be illegal.

You may also need to create a landing page to improve the chance of your online business.

What is a Landing Page?

You are able to reach potential customers, you may excite them with your sales letter or your articles, but most of them will not continue to read and may easily click back. Thus, you will need to create a landing page where you can offer additional information like free reports or free trial. Offer to send the free information through email, you may then be able to capture their email addresses.

When you get the email addresses of targeted visitors, then it will be easy for you to convert them into buyers of your products.

Finally, when you are able to build your list, continue to communicate with them. Offering helpful tips on how to use the products properly. They will then be happy customers and thus, may talk about their good experience with you and your products. This will then lead to word of mouth referral.

While being happy and talking about your products and services may be good, it may may likewise be necessary that you ask your customers for referrals. Your online business will now be successful because you have targeted customers craving for your products.

Online Business Start-Up - Funding It With Your Unemployment Check

Each day, more and more deserving people come online to earn income through an online business venture. As time passes and the economy leaves less and less financial reserves for prospective business start-ups, many people have nothing more than an unemployment check to fund their new online business start-up.

Low start-up funding should not be a deterrent for anyone who has a strong desire to get an online business up and running. It has been done hundreds of times during this recession by people who had nothing more than an unemployment check to invest.

Here are some ideas that might help fund your start-up easily and frugally:

1. First, think about what is ahead Starting a new business, especially if you have never owned a business previously, could be a frightening experience. I assure you, it is not as difficult as it seems. The first step in the process is to decide the business segment that is right for you. Look for something with which you can happily become involved or something that is interesting to you. At this point, you are looking to start a basic business which can be expanded later on as experience and profits grow. Since you will be running your business solo, make mental plans to put forth the necessary effort. It will take weeks of diligent work on your behalf to get your business launched, so prepare yourself for this.

2. Do not over capitalize your start up Starting a profitable business on a shoestring, in this case an unemployment check, can be accomplished easily if you set up limits on how much you will initially invest in the venture. To start a professional business online you will need a domain name, a hosting account to give that domain name an address on the internet, and an autoresponder with which you will build a list of subscribers. The fee for a domain name is around $10 per year, and the monthly expense of hosting and an autoresponder will be approximately $22. When you consider the greater expense of opening a traditional business, this $22 per month is minimal. Once you have your domain name, hosting, and an autoresponder, you will have all the basic necessities for starting up your venture.

3. Watch your spending There is a great temptation to make purchases during the early stages of your start-up due to the ever-expanding new products and services that become available for online business people. You must remember that during your start up phase it is crucial that your spending have limits. Those limits should be no higher than your basic necessities. A word of warning: many new start-up entrepreneurs fail to resist the repeated promotions for new products and, as a result, over-capitalize their business to the point that it is impossible to make a profit. Keep your spending minimal, and make purchases only after you begin to bring in profit to your business.

4. Set up your daily business work plan Your success will be born from your work processes and planning. A good idea would be to have a schedule set up with define working time-lines. Within those time-lines should be a defined "things-to-do" lists for that day. Hold yourself accountable for performing your daily work tasks. As you go and grow, you will become more proficient in all your work tasks, and your business will show results of your labor with income.

5. Seek advice and continue learning processes When you are new to entrepreneurship and running a successful business online, there will always be questions. It is to your best interest to seek free advice from experienced and willing marketers that you will meet online. During your start-up you should be keeping an eye on your expenses. It will be necessary to refrain from going into an expensive training course, or joining a training membership. There are many experienced and proven mentors who are willing to share some excellent advice and support for no charge. Social networking sites will have knowledgeable and helpful people who can answer questions and offer support during your first few months. As far as learning business strategies and entrepreneurship principles, set up time every week to perform some research by using the search engines to locate content that will further your business education. Once you begin turning a profit, should you need specific training, then you can fund your education with your business profits.

Starting a business on a shoestring using unemployment checks can be done as long as you make logical decisions, obtain only what you need to get started, then watch your expenses while you grow your business into a successful, fruitful venture.

What's Wrong With Online Business Opportunity Goals? For Entrepreneurs Only!

Are you an entrepreneur? Perhaps you are looking for a home online business opportunity. Maybe you're already involved in an Affiliate marketing business, or perhaps already successful in internet marketing. Let's say you have some level of interest in entrepreneurship.

As a business entrepreneur you are a professional; you love the prospect of making lots of money with an online business working from home. As such you also have a pressing need for personal growth, as well as the development of online internet skills.

Everyday your mentors are emphasizing to you the crucial importance of creating goals, visualizing goals, working hard to realize and manifest your goals. They ask you to make sure you have written your goals out in clear black and white on a sheet of paper. They insist on posting your written goals on the walls of your home in clear view so you can easily remind yourself of what you have dreamed of, what you have committed to paper. True, goals are necessary and important.

What's wrong with this picture? Well, nothing as far as it goes; it just doesn't go far enough. Goals are good in that they represent your vision of what you want in your life, in your future. Goals are future oriented.

It's important to live is in an aspiring forward moving mindset. It gives meaning to your life, that's for sure. It directs your working days and hours toward what will bring satisfaction to yourself and your family. Planning is important, there's no question about it. Dreaming, conceiving, visualizing what you want your life to look like in ten years or twenty years is definitely a healthy mode of mental operation.

However, in spite of the healthy aspect of setting goals for your online business and your aspirations for the entrepreneurship road of "fire your boss", there are some limits and built-in dangers in holding goals too tight and right in an obsessional manner.

Take as an example my neighbor Jack. He has been on a new career path that involves internet marketing in a work at home online business. In my view, Jack is never happy, although he is excited. He looks to me kind of nervous all the time, wound up tight as a drum and not really enjoying life. He is dominated and obsessed with his business goals and never seems to have time to enjoy life in the present moment. Somehow Jack's ambition is working against him.

I observed that underneath Jack's excitement is a pervasive sense of poverty mentality. There is a sense of "lack" about him that worries me and makes me feel a bit sad about his failure to notice what's happening in the present moment.

I think what's going on here is that many people like Jack, and maybe you, are scared and worried about their future. Fear seems to be a big motivator. You have taken a big risk with your time and money and things are not working out yet. What's missing here, what's unhealthy about obsessional thinking? There is no room for appreciation of what you already have. How about appreciating what we have several times each day?

What about gratitude? Gratitude and appreciation of what you already have is not only a healing attitude, but it is also a strategically important aspect of creating, maintaining and practicing a balanced business plan. How to live a balanced life is often forgotten in the craving and whirlwind of ambition so that we do not allow ourselves the time and space to allow gratitude to arise in our being. Gratitude? Yes.

For business entrepreneurs, especially those working alone from home, it is smart and productive to open yourself to the universal mindset of abundance. Too much focus on the future, too much thinking about your future-oriented goals encourages the hidden demon of "lack" to push you into the maniacal mood of greed.

The way to heal that disease is to open to the Attitude of Gratitude. This excellent business advice that I have encountered out on the entrepreneur circuit has allowed me to relax into the rich mindset of abundance. When prospects don't show up, when leads don't do what they said, I don't take it personally as a subtraction from my goals. No, I have trained myself in the attitudes of richness, abundance, gratitude. The problem always comes back to me...what am I doing to attract complainers and whiners?

When I tap into the free and universal attitude of gratitude and abundance, when I see the world and my world in this way, I see that in being an online business entrepreneur or internet marketer working from home...the buck must stop here. Here is where the work of personal growth comes in.

When I hold abundance and gratitude in my heart and my behavior and in my speech, then I trust that is what will come back to me. This is the idea behind the networker's slogan: "Some will, Some won't, So what...Next!" It's not about being a snub-nose smart ass. It is about not taking it emotionally and personally, as if there's something wrong with you or the other person equally. You can't give abundance away because it keeps coming back to you.

Abundance and gratitude are about: not making people wrong. Making others wrong comes from an internal sense of poverty and lack. Even carrying a sense of competition instead of cooperation shows an internal sense of lack. Take a look at yourself.

What this is about is placing yourself beyond your narrow ego and out into the creation of a balanced life that holds both the future (as reflected in goals) and the present (as reflected in appreciation and constant gratitude) in equal balance.

When you train yourself on an ongoing basis to do this daily, then you will see your online business opportunities and networking internet marketing career as an opportunity to serve others. Servant leadership is the key to helping others get what they want, and then you will get what you want. Future goals must be balanced with a present sense of abundance and gratitude for success in online business or anything else in life.

Six Tips On How To Make Your Online Business A Success

Starting your own business is always a challenge. While time and capital are the basic ingredients; what it really relies on is passion, determination and the will-power just to fuel the engine for your entrepreneurial journey. This is not only true for offline business but the same applies for doing business online.

In addition to the traditional implications of doing business, web entrepreneurship has its own set of rules. You may be able to start off a business with a trivial investment; and that's the beauty of it which compels many to consider making money online. But the online road has its own bumps; the biggest one being the frustration caused when projects don't show up.

Here are six tips on how you can ensure the success of your online business:

Build a strong website: Just as in a traditional business where your outlet must be welcoming for customers and your staff well-trained and helpful; your website is like a showroom for your clients where they can come, sit (browse), check items and inquire about your products (contact forms). If you don't greet your clients well when they visit, they might never return.

Go for alliances: In a start-up, you can't survive alone. This is especially true for online business where the internet is saturated with online vendors, bloggers and even major multinational brands competing against the new ones. The internet is just one big market and competition is huge; but so are the opportunities. The internet business has no limitations and you can create joint ventures and alliances with other firms in the same industry anywhere in the globe. Working with your competitors instead of against them is one of the key determinants of success in the virtual world. Look for ways on how you can work together with your competitors and come to terms that guarantee a mutual win-win situation for you both. For example, suppose you're a web-designing company but lack the expertise of good copywriting. You can create alliances with a blogger who perhaps wants to expand her business into web designing. Or, you can work on McKinsey Model and give some percentage commission to anyone who brings in projects for you. This would allow you to work even in the foreign market without having to bear any additional costs of actually traveling there.

Brand yourself: Self-branding is as important as branding your company. It's important to have a domain of your own; either in the form of a blog or a website. Be active on social networking sites. They are your contact cards and a great way to bring in profits. For example, 90% of our clients are generated from social media sites.

Retain your customers: Your existing customers are your biggest source for bringing in new ones. Retaining them, therefore, is most important. There are several ways to make your customers come back to you again and again. Identify their pain areas and offer them remedies accordingly. Give them an offer they can't resist. Example: suppose you offer multiple services and a prospect comes to you for only one service; say, web designing. Give them the services of copywriting for free. Or, if they already have opted for this service, tell them you'll do the initial on-page SEO of their website for free. If results are positive, they'll obviously want to come back for more.

Build a portfolio: In an online world where there are millions of websites claiming to be experts in their domains, your customer needs proof in order to trust you. And what better proof is there than a strong portfolio? Start-ups, however, can face problems building a portfolio when projects are few in the beginning. Your aim, as a start-up, should be to get more customers in the beginning to build that portfolio. Take as many projects as you can, even for minimal charges if you have to. If you're a web designing company, build dummy websites or templates that you can display in your portfolio. The chief purpose of portfolios is to prove to potential customers what you're capable of and what you can do.

Have a strong Internet Marketing Strategy: You need to be aggressive in your marketing on the web. Have a strong internet marketing plan. Make sure your website is optimized for search engines, and hire experts to promote your business if you're not sure you can't do it yourself.

These were some of the tips that I've personally tried, learned and found successful during my own web entrepreneurial voyage. Amir Anzur, a guru and a successful entrepreneur himself, offers several ideas on different ways of doing business online that I've found very helpful for people looking for ideas.

I Expected To Make Tons Of Money As Soon As I Became An Online Business Entrepreneur!

Do you realize that you need to have a business mindset to be successful in any business venture? In order to have a business mindset, you must understand the desires and needs of your potential customers as the main source of your online or storefront endeavors.

In order to understand the mindset of your potential customers, you must do a lot of research to see what the market demands. I have often thought of the age-old saying, "There must be a demand for whatever type of product/service you are offering". Truthfully, no truer words were ever spoken! (This is elementary my dear Watson - the supply and demand rule of any marketplace.)

Now, in order to be fair, we should compare online entrepreneurship to storefront entrepreneurship.

When you have a storefront anywhere, you have to find a space to rent, own or lease right? When you are an online business, you must think of a domain name as well as a hosting company. The difference in price is the big thing - renting or buying a commercial property may be more expensive than the hosting, but please remember that when you have a storefront, you deal with all customers on a face-to-face basis, while on the internet, you have to depend on word-of-mouth in most cases.

When you have a business online, you must think of a sales letter that will sell your product/service without the aids of vision, while in the case of a storefront, you have the aid of vision, people can make choices (whether they are to your liking or not), and you can make a personal sales pitch. This is almost impossible on the internet - you must depend on your sales letter (usually the written word only). For that reason, your sales letter must be outstanding and convincing to any and all customers that visit your website.

When it comes to making a living from your business entrepreneurship, whether it is online or storefront, you must remember that both take time. With the above-noted factors in mind, do you think you can achieve financial freedom overnight? This is highly unlikely in either case (storefront or internet) without the patience and persistence you should possess!

To establish any business anywhere, you must earn the respect of your customers, and as most of us are aware, that takes time! You surely don't expect that as soon as you start any kind of business endeavor that you will make a fortune within a few days - how can people trust you? Most people don't even know you so why should they buy your products/services from you? In short, you have to prove yourself to potential customers no matter whether you have a storefront or an online business.

In my experience, people get into an online business to achieve financial freedom and expect to see major results almost overnight, without thinking of all the aspects involved in such a venture. If you tend to think this way, you are really cheating yourself and your customers. Don't make that mistake - it could be very costly financially and hard on anyone's self-esteem!

What about advertising? Did you think of that? If you are an online business from home, you can advertise with testimonials if you so desire (that's a good way in fact), but as a storefront, you may not have that option unless the customer you have the testimonial from is in the store when their words of wisdom are required - the odds of that happening are pretty slim. Unless the customer you are promoting your products/services to personally knows the customer that wants to give your business a boost with a testimonial and can give them a call or a visit, you may be out of luck.

To make a long story short, online business ventures are not that vastly different from a storefront business when all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed, but there are differences when you stop to think about both types of businesses.

Can you spot the differences between the storefront business and an online business? Do you want to gain financial freedom with no boundaries?

Home Online Business Opportunity - Being an Entrepreneur

All entrepreneurs were not all natural-born; in fact, many who were not born entrepreneurs can become one. But, there are some identifiable entrepreneurial traits someone must have to be successful in business. After all, entrepreneurship is not for everyone. However with these specific character traits, you can see if you really have what it takes to reach your goals with a home online business opportunity. Let's explore indispensable entrepreneurial attributes that anyone who is aspiring to start a business should possess.

1. Independence. This is often the most common denominator of all entrepreneurs. They want to seize their destiny; therefore they commit to become their own boss rather than labouring beneath the gaze of a boss. An entrepreneur possesses a stubborn sense of independence and can move forward with a single-mindedness of purpose and well-defined personal objective to attain via their online home business opportunity.

2. Determination and Persistence. The world of home entrepreneurship is expected to be filled with both success and failure. A necessary attribute of a winning entrepreneur is the devotion to persist pursuing his goal regardless of the setbacks and obstacles he may stumble upon on the road. This perseverance and determination is fueled by a burning desire to realise his objective of succeeding in his chosen home business opportunity and reaching their dream.

3. Self-Confidence. Along with independence, an entrepreneur has self-confidence. They believe in their capabilities and ensure that they will put forward their best effort into their particular endeavours and in turn demand the greatest outcomes from it. The business world is very competitive and isn't a place for the half-hearted. Trust in one's own abilities is very important in reaching any objective - particularly in running a home business online.

4. Creativity. You should be ready to create new ideas as well as create new ways in which to unravel obstacles. Creative people are in nature curious, bright and highly adaptable when thinking. Creative entrepreneurs acutely scrutinize their environment and have an eye for recognising new trends that would create an opportunity to grow their home business online.

5. Goal-Oriented and Organised. An entrepreneur is aware of the value in being systematic when undertaking a home online business opportunity. All work should be targeted towards accomplishing the purpose. A smart entrepreneur uses systems for each move they make so that less time and other resources are consumed in achieving the goal. A good entrepreneur has the power to consolidate his resources and sees true value in leveraging his labour.

6. Visionary. Entrepreneurs have a clear vision for their future. They are guided by this vision to take the opportunity and build a successful home business online. This vision may be for short-term or long-term, but all visions are to ultimately reach their goals in growing one's business. Committed entrepreneurs will already feel their success and visualise it clearly even before it happens.

7. Risk-taking and Tolerance for Failure. A sensible entrepreneur understands that shortfalls and defeat are inherent to any business venture. Thus, an entrepreneur should always be ready to take calculated risks and face the consequences. Entrepreneurs must have the courage to face defeat and start again. Whether or not it is with a home online business opportunity or other business venture, a successful entrepreneur persists and moves on even though obstacles momentarily obstructs the way.

8. Perseverance, Commitment and Hard Work. These are perhaps the most vital entrepreneurial traits. In taking on a home business opportunities online, there can be no real success without perseverance and hard work. An entrepreneur can not generate great results if he/she gives up in front of obstacles. An unconditional commitment to success is in itself a vehicle for perseverance and hard work.

9. Integrity. Whether it is with business partners, workers, fellows or investors, entrepreneurs should be honest and honorable in all their business transactions and interpersonal relationships. Genuine home entrepreneurs believe that they run a genuine home online business opportunity and surround themselves with partners and companies with the same pledge to integrity.

Entrepreneur Home Based Online Business

Owning your own home based online business can be an exiting and rewarding experience, and entrepreneurship is becoming an ever more popular choice in today's marketplace.

The very fact that it is home based allows you the flexibility of setting your own working hours. The fact that it is online means very little start up costs (as compared to a physical business with premises, staff etc to consider). However, while the benefits are great, entrepreneurship is not for everyone and there are also disadvantages to deal with.

The most successful online business are those that are well thought out and planned, therefore, if you are considering staring your own home based online business, before venturing too far, ask yourself some important questions, and weigh up the pros and cons, to determine if you have what it takes to run a successful online business from home:

1. You have the potential to earn a lot of money, you will be able to set your own hours and be your own boss, but running an successful online business takes hard work, determination and requires long hours. It must be run as a business and not as an extension of your home life. Are you willing to work long hours, and do you see yourself having the discipline and long-term motivation, energy and commitment it takes to make this work?

2. You will no longer be going to the office, and working from home can make some people feel isolated. Are you prepared for this change?

3. The information you offer around your product needs to be to a good standard, up to date, and I believe truthful. Do you have sufficient knowledge, and if not are you prepared to put in the time to learn?

4. Success may not happen right away, are you in the position and prepared to take the time it needs?

In summary, entrepreneurship and owning your own home based online business is not for the faint-hearted, but if you are willing to work hard and embrace a challenge, your dreams can come true.

Good Finds: Successful Online Business Ideas

Finding the perfect career and business opportunity for you may prove to be difficult. There are a lot of opportunities that seem to be really good but cannot be easily trusted to work. In fact, when it comes to successful online business ideas, there are too many opinions that count. Even online activities like getting involved in social networking sites and blogging can now be considered as great business opportunities.

Usually, people think along this line when they attempt to start online businesses. This may be brought on by how easy things are done within the Web. Putting up a website is relatively easy because of the readily available platforms in the Web. You can tweak applications, widgets, and designs to suit the look and feel that you envision. Blogging can also get you enough income if you deliver really good paid articles.

As you start your own business online though, research is important. This is a big part of the difficulty that is experienced by entrepreneurs. There are a few tips that you may consider in researching for successful online business ideas through the Internet. Here are some:

1. Use keywords. You have to remember that most websites offering or posting about successful online businesses use keywords in their articles. These are words that help their sites gain rates from search engines and be indexed as credible sources. So when you search for online business ideas, use keywords that are relevant to what you want to find. They can be about blogging, entrepreneurship, online business, and selling. The more specific you are about what you want to find, the better your search will be. Phrasing is also important. You want to use phrases that would give you the best results from a search engine. For example, "best online business" gives a different set of results from "successful online businesses". Being specific matters a lot, so do type in the exact set of results that you want to get.

2. Get referrals from trusted people. Definitely, one way to ensure that you are visiting the right business pages is to ask credible people. They can be friends you have online or actual persons who have had successful business ventures through their own Internet finds. Visit blogs, websites, and social network accounts of people you trust. Also, do try visiting the sites of those who are widely acknowledged online as being successful business owners. Using information from these people is better because they have experienced the consequences of their search. Not only would you be able to get valuable information on where to find great business ventures online, you would also be given free firsthand advices on how to make your own be more successful.

3. Do not be afraid to contact site administrators. One of the many problems encountered by people who research online is that they are unsure of the website's credibility. Of course, this gives them the dilemma of whether or not they should trust the information in those websites. But as experts agree, a good way to ward off these uncertainties is to ask. There are contact details in the websites of online organizations offering business opportunities. These details are all made to be accessible whether through phone or email. Make use of those details. Give the administrators a call to discuss their articles. Some people think of it as awkward because others generally do not like being called upon regarding their posts. But do know that there are a lot of things that cannot be posted online and talking about it in as close a way as possible helps to clarify matters. If you are not good in speaking over the phone or if doing so is not possible due to differences in language or time, you can easily draft an email and send it to them. Ask them all that you need to know about their offer: pricing, procedure, and benefit package.

Successful online business ideas are not always hatched from the brightest minds. As opposed to what a lot of people believe, these ideas can also be researched. Once you know what you are looking for, go and do everything in your power to find it.

How to Start Your Own Online Business Empire

Forbes Magazine approximates that 40 million people will want to start their own business online. The reason is because more and more people are realizing that entrepreneurship may be the only way to their heart's desire. That being said, more and more people are wondering how they would go about starting a business online.

Starting a business online is actually easier than what most people think. It's actually easier than starting a business offline (brick-and-mortar). The reason is because starting a business online doesn't have the big headaches that come with starting a business offline. Starting offline, you have to get A LOT of money, find a commercial zoned space for your business (the zoning has to relate to what type of business you're running), and sometimes, finding employees which just brings in more headaches. On the other hand, starting a business online is almost completely opposite. You don't need too much capital (money to start a business), you could work at home (or anywhere you can get internet), and you can do most of the work yourself. Though all that may be true, still, starting a business (online or offline) first requires research.

Research is probably one of the biggest hurdles future millionaires have gone through. Even if you were to join a home based business, like an MLM (Multi Level Marketing) for example, you would still need to do some research. What I mean is that there are things you still must consider when joining any business (especially with all the HYPE going around on the internet). If you would like more information on how to find the right business opportunity to join, then read my article:

You see, when business owner does thorough research in the beginning, he/she is able to plan their business much more effectively. Trust me, planning the business is very important. Without a solid plan, there will be no solid business. In fact, lots of people get so excited in starting a business, especially the ones that join already formed businesses (MLM, Network Marketing, Business Opportunities), that they inevitably forget to plan right. Here's a saying in the business that may get you in the right mindset of entrepreneurship: "If you FAIL to PLAN, you PLAN to FAIL." Simple as that.

So now, you're probably wondering what should you research. Well, before we get into that, you must understand that a business is, in all it's purity, a solution to a problem. Think about it, McDonalds has the solution to the "I'm hungy. What should we eat?" problem. Home Depot has the solution to improve your home. Any business you see out there, is a solution to a problem. So, what you need to research is what solution are you going to provide? Are you going to provide great advice on how to get more healthy and fit? Are you going to provide a solution to those who need money? Are you going to provide a solution to those that are having problems with their spouses?

There are a lot of problems out there. However, one person can't solve them all. But then again, one person can solve one problem. What abilities do you posses that might be a solution to a problem? What passions do you have that may constitute as a solution to a problem? These type of questions are the questions you ask when you are starting a business. What you are essentially doing is trying to find the right market. For example: Maybe you love the idea of weddings. Well, then your market is, yes you guessed, The Wedding Market. Simple right?

Yes, it is simple finding a market. However, that's just the first step. The next thing to do is break it down. You need to find what we call a "niche" in the market. The reason being is because just wedding is too general. Lets put it this way: McDonald's is in the fast food industry (Wedding). However, they don't serve all kinds of fast food. Their specialty are hamburgers (Niche). So, their Market is fast food, and their niche is hamburgers. So with the wedding market, the niche can be wedding dresses. Another niche of wedding would be wedding planning. There are a ton of niches in each market. The simplest way to find the one you're going to be successful at is one where you will have passion about. After all, you got to be enthusiastic about your product right?

After the initial research stage, your next step would be to open up shop. You're probably wondering how to do that. It's simple really. First, you have to think a name of your shop. This may become a little difficult. I say so because, as stated in the beginning of the article, about 40 million people want to start an online business. That means, the name you want for your shop can already be taken. Just get a little creative, and you could end up owning a BRAND name. Now that you have a name, go register it. The name is what we call a domain. A domain is this: www.yourshopname.com Register your domain. There are lots of places to do this, but the one I recommend is namecheap.com (it's the one I use). OK, now that you have your market and name, you need somewhere to put it. This is what we call a host/server. Think of it as the real estate if you were opening an offline business. There are a lot of hosting services out there. It really doesn't matter where you go for hosting. It's really your choice. I would recommend justhost.com because it's what I use.

Alright! You got a market, a shop. Now, you need traffic (potential customers). Getting traffic is what we call Internet Marketing. Marketing is the hardest part in the online business world. However, once you master it, you are set for life. Once you master Internet Marketing, you can go beyond what you are selling, and sell anything to anyone around the world while you sleep. Sounds good huh? Unfortunately, it's not easy to master the Internet Marketing skill. It takes time, diligence, and hard, hard work. Fortunately, all the time, diligence, and hard, hard work will pay off 100x in the future. Think of it this way, work hard for 40 hours a week, for a year or two, and reap the benefits for life! So how do you market you say.

Well, that is about another 500 articles to write. What I recommend you do is Google "how to internet marketing" and you will find 1,000,000 answers to that question. Internet Marketing is the meat of online businesses. It's what makes you work. It also is what makes you rich. If you really want more information, take a look at my sig on the bottom and it will tell you exactly what I do.

So now you know what it takes to start an online business. It may seem hard, but it really isn't. As long as you set your mind to it, you can make it happen. Trust me, in this business, mindset is what counts. The desire to do something and change your life for, not the better, but the best is all you really need to succeed.
